Hallo
I’m working on a project that’s in a coordinate system (UTM32) but for the project I need to reference another project in which is in another coordinate system (DKM2), how can I do so they are in the same coordinate system or are in the right place according to each other.
My project is a road in rural area that is sectioned and drawn by different companies that is why the reference fil is not in the same coordinate system.
I hope someone can help my :-)
First you will need to make sure that each of the dgn files has the correct Geographic coordinate system attached. You will find those tools under Drawing > Utilities > Geographic.
After they both have the correct coordinate systems defined, you then can attach one as a reference to the other. When both the active file and attachment have a defined GCS, the Geographic orientation options are available. Choose the Reprojected option. Your reference attachment will be transformed to fit the GCS of the active file.
