We’re trying to label our cross sections, and we are using a preset annotation group. For some reason we cannot get the tie in slopes to display. We tried using the “create list of segments tool” and that doesn’t seem to work right either. When I apply expressions when using the create a list then all the slopes get deleted. So, trying to stick with the “use all segments tool” in the segments to be filtered tab. Any suggestion or idea why our tie in slopes won’t annotate? Also proposed elevations are not showing up either.
Have you tried adding in a fake segment from a template and renaming the strings ( caps lock sensitive)
Does anyone else have any suggestions? The wiki link below didn't help unfortunately. I also brought over templates from ss10, if that could potentially be the issue. If so is there a fix?
Thanks for linking that Holly. My issue is when I am using the Create list of segments tool. For some reason even when I force it to create slopes for this specific location using this tool it still does not want to show the slope there. The slopes on the roadway are displayed but not the tie in slopes, even when I try to create a list of segments.
This wiki reviews some troubleshooting tips. They should apply for segments too, not just points. https://communities.bentley.com/products/road___site_design/w/road_and_site_design__wiki/52474/cross-section-point-annotation-troubleshooting
I would recommend removing any filter to make sure that is not what is preventing the segment from annotating. From there if it is still not annotating it could be that the text favorite is not being applied correctly.
