I also had the same problem but I found a way without clicking individually.

Make sure that your mouse cursor stays within the key-in field when you press Enter. This also seems to help. And, don't forget that you also have the Locate Station Via Datapoint tool available from the right-press pop-up menu.

This is a common challenge for me. This will sound silly but try typing the station slowly. This is just a theory but it seems to act as though a quick typing effort overruns the key strike buffer and the actual value interpreted under the hood is nonsensical. For example you type 110+50 but under the hood it receives 150.
