Using two centerlines w/ feature definitions and active profiles, the Profile Intersection Point tool does not generate the point in the profile view.
I'm in a Corridor dgn w/ the geometry referenced in. I also used the Plan by 3D on the centerlines because I was getting a popup that the elements were in a reference that was not active. I haven't had to do that before.
I'm running 10.9.
Any ideas? Thanks
Hi Spencer,
Are you still having issues?
Have you tried merging the reference to master?
If not, then try that and see if that fixes the issue.
Why would we merge the geometry reference into the corridor? Best Practices (coming directly from Bentley) is to keep geometry in its own separate file (preferably separate files for each alignment).

I still have the same issue using the tool in a Corridor dgn with the geometry referenced. The tool works fine in the geometry file with active alignments.
When trying it in the Corridor dgn, I see a cursor popup that the element (the alignment) is in a read-only reference. Could that be preventing the selection? I have "locate" enabled in the reference dialog. Is there a setting that would allow the selection?
I want to maintain the file separation as-is.
Thanks
I misunderstood the issue. That read-only message could prevent the tool from selecting properly.
Could you send me your dataset so that I can test and look at this issue?
You can upload to this link: https://bentley.sharefile.com/r-r7cc373e735ad4118809baed796a3194b
I tested your files and was able to use the tool properly. I was able to select the geometry alignment using the tool by:
Selecting the Corridor centerline alignment first, then selecting the intersecting alignment.
