Ramp connection in between elevated viaduct and at-grade portion

Dear All,
I cant establish an interchange ramp connection between elevated viaduct and at-grade sections. I have attached a screenshot of the area that need to be interchanged. Also attached the working file in the link below for your reference.
Appreciate if anyone could guide me on this matter. Thanks in advance.

  • While I can't speak directly to conceptstation, general design procedure would probably be to design the at grade road, the elevated road, and then the ramp, using the other two as surface/design references. Which part isn't working for you?

  • Hi Mary,

That's the usual way of designing a ramp connection between two sections. However, in my situation, the ramp is needed to be connected from at-grade (existing road) to an elevated viaduct which doesn't have any at grade section ( I mean no abutment). Its just fully elevated. I dont see any template available to do the connection between these two sections.

  • I can see your problem. How are you designing this viaduct? Would it be possible to create a "working" corridor where this structure is, to assist with your ramp design? Hopefully someone with a more thorough understanding of all the design options will be along to offer a more creative and effective solution.

  • There is no specific template to place elevated viaduct throughout my design. So I have used the bridge template by stretching it to maximum and make sure it looks like an elevated section on my alignment. I have already created a " working corridor" as mentioned in the earlier comment by providing a link for the folder path due to the huge file size. Please use the link to download my working file. No harm in the link provided. It's from my onedrive file.
