I used the “Geometry Builder Edit” tool to edit a construction centerline and it resulted in the relationships between the centerline and EOP lines being broken. Is there a different way to edit complex centerline geometry without breaking relationships between other elements? We can provide the file in question if need be.
Have you tried the Append Element tool or Complex Redefine? It's been hit and miss for me, but worth a shot. Worst case, it would be linked but shifted due to new station due to the edited portion. We tried the complex redefine tool but all our EOP's, shoulders, sidewalk, etc. got messed up. we have a lot of tapers, lane shifts and lane adds/drops, so all the offset and taper rules are moving to. we tried the append tool as well but it doesn't appear applicable to the exact situation we're dealing with.
