Whenever I am using the OpenRoads Geometry Offset tools, no matter the tool (Single Offset Entire, Single Offset Partial, Single Offset Variable, etc.) It never fails that all of these tools will inevitably stop working and the below error will pop up. The only work around I have been successful with has been to restart the program, no small task when working within the ProjectWise environment.
Has anybody else has this issue and come up with a fix other than restarting?
Hi Matt,
Try clearing your preferences. That should resolve it.

Yep, what Mark said :-)
Thanks guys. Hate to sound like I don't know what I'm talking about, but, best way to clear your preferences? Thanks again for the help.

You can do it manually as explained in the video. You can do it with more granularity by removing the XML file that saves the last used settings of the command. It is in the following folder:
%localappdata%\Bentley\OpenRailDesigner\10.0.0_1\prefs\civil_commands
Example: GEOMETRY OFFSET PLACE[Single Offset Entire Element].xml
Another way to remove all defaults is to type Run from windows search and copy/paste the following (or copy OpenRoads shortcut and change properties to add -restoredefaults):
"C:\Program Files\Bentley\OpenRoads Designer CONNECT Edition\OpenRoadsDesigner\OpenRoadsDesigner.exe" -restoredefaults
