I developed an alignment file using a Caltrans 2D seed file. When I place a label using either a cell or text favorite, the terminator goes out into space and not where I chose it to be.
However, If I use the Openroads Imperial 2D seed file and generate the alignment and place labels, everything works perfectly.
Is there something in the Openroads settings I need to change to get the place label function to work using the Caltrans seed file?
Hi Conrad,
If you have not already, I would recommend checking and comparing the settings of both of these files to see what the differences are in this instance, if any.
Thanks Ja'Shon.
I found the solution to the problem. As it turns out, Caltrans has an offset geographic origin (GO) for their seed files. I had to change the GO to zero and now the place label function works fine with text favorites and cells.
