ORD - Combining alignments/profiles

I am using ORD 2020 V 2 (10.08.01.33) and have a series of alignments with profiles that I need to combine into one alignment/profile.  Is there an automated way to do this, or do I need to create one complete alignment, project the current profiles and recreate the proposed profile?  Thank you in advance.

  • Not 100% sure this would work, but you could try exporting all to a GPK and then re-importing into ORD. When re-importing, just select the one alignment you want to use and all the profiles you want to be associated with that alignment. You'll need to make sure they share the stationing or you can run into issues when importing. You'll also only be able to set one Active Profile at a time.

  • Have you tried the Complex by Elements and Profile Complex by Elements commands?  Complex the horizontal together then complex the profile elements together. I think that should do what your looking for.

  • Just like Matthew Eiben said, you should try the Complex by Elements tool to chain the individual alignments together.  Then you would open the profile window of the newly complexed alignment and chain all the individual profiles together.  Tedious process...
