When I use the mirror button from the tools ribbon, it remembers my previous selections of the tool. The default options appear to be whatever was last used. (ie. the "mirror direction" is "line", "horizontal

RE: Bug in Mirror Command Default Selections

You should mark the suggested answer as confirmed so others know the thread contains a solution. This works perfectly now!
A number of versions ago, some extended key in commands were created and adding ICON was used on a number of placement and manipulation commands. I believe one or more other works were used for other commands, but those slip my mind at this time.

I think certain VIEW commands got special added words, but that's all I can remember right now.

Looking at the customize tools, you can usually see what key ins are used. I also have used to key in browser to learn extra command words.

Both Copy and Move have an Icon mode.

RE: Bug in Mirror Command Default Selections

Hi Greg

You can set your prefered mirror method directly in the keyboard shortcuts (e.g. "mirror copy vertical"), and these settings will be loaded with the shortcut:

If you still feel that using the general shortcut for "mirror" without specifying the settings should behave in the same way as starting the command from the ribbon, you can report this issue as a bug through the Service Request Manager:
