Hello,
Does anyone have experience using multiple dgn models, housing identical ORD named boundaries, for separate disciplines? I have a 14 mile long project that will have multiple disciplines using identical roadway plan sheet layouts for their own sheets. They will also have individualized reference files. Is it possible to have one dgn file with multiple models, each model having unique reference files, and each model having their own named boundary (i.e. rdwy, traffic, environmental, drainage). And from this setup can you then create each discipline's plan sheets from each model/discipline/named boundary?
Or...given the project size Is it better to have actual copies of the original roadway DGN file that includes the initial named boundary layout, then in each separate file change out reference files as needed, then create the separate discipline plan sheets from each separate dgn file?
Any other organizational recommendations to simply this plan sheet creation in ORD for a large project would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Larry
