No you don't - you have a series of straights that approximate a curve. There are no geometric curves in the horizontal alignment - see the snapshot of the report I posted in an earlier answer. there is nothing but 'HPI' points.

Annotate the alignment with an Annotation Group that gives curve details - you will not get any curve annotation with your alignment as there are no curves.

I don't quite follow, I have two curves towards the end of my geometry, which roughly has a radius of 200m for each curve?

Horizontal geometry. You need to know the radius of a curve to be able to calculate the required superelevation. You have no curves - therefore no superelevation. Your data is not suitable for this exercise.

Hi Mark, are you referring to the horizontal geometry or vertical active profile attached to the horizontal geometry? Does this need to be complex geometry?

Here is a snapshot of the centreline report - you do not have any geometry (as in straights/spirals/circular arcs). It is all straight segments, and therefore no superelevation can be calculated. I would hazard a guess this is a CAD element that was turned into a Civil feature.

Can you upload the geometry file/DGN? Use the 'Insert' option.

Can you run a Horizontal Geometry Report on the alignment - I do not understand why there are so many ticks in the Super dialog.

In the image above, I note all the cyan ticks in the dialog. They normally mark start and end of transitions - yet there are way too many of them for the alignment you display. Where is the alignment coming from, and can you show the horizontal report for it?

I meant Geometry that does not include Curves. Do you have a snapshot of the geometry?

When calculating the super, there is no need to have the corridor or terrain referenced - not that that makes a difference, but just FYI.

Does the corridor template have features with the 'SuperElevation Flag' checked on? For a simple road, the features would be the centreline and left/right carriageway edges.

Hi Chris,

It will not apply any super if you only have straight geometry and an additional thing is that the super editor dialog doesnt alway refresh on data import or initial calculation (you need to close ad reopen).
