Thank you for the reply. The issue has been resolved. I went and retrieved the OLD file, which had the name boundaries in it, and replaced it with one within the project folder. That did the trick.

From my experience when this happens one of two things are going on.

1. The named boundary and/or saved view was deleted

2. The source file was deleted

Under wither of these scenarios you need to recreate the drawing. There is not way to recover the drawing that I know of. I had a source file get deleted recently and even when the file was re-pathed the profile view did not recover.

Have you explored the Learning Paths about sheet creation? Because what you are describing doesn't sound like the way OpenRoads "wants" to do sheets. Named boundaries are created in the plan and or profile views, but then the plan segments are referenced into drawing models, and the profile pieces are drawn into drawing models, and then those drawing models are referenced into the sheets.

It sounds as if you are trying to do something that is half the way we used to do things and half the way ORD does things, but they don't really work the same way.

The reference for the Profile was coming from the "Profile multi modal view" in ORD. I am not sure how I can repath my reference to this view.

2. A Motif file is nothing more than a MicroStation design file with reference files attached and level symbology set up the way the plan sheets are to look when clipped (a settings file)

Are you able to re-path the reference attachment, to the proper model (not detach/reattach but just select new path)? What happens then? Does that model exist in your file, or has the model itself disappeared?

I am not familiar with MOTIF files, so I cannot help you with issues specific to whatever that may be. However most sheet creation methods use some form of reference attachment, and it may be possible to correct the issue using the reference file tools and options.

2. What does MOTIF mean? I do not know this acronym so am curious.
