I know my question involves a process in OBM, but the technique was originally done in ORD hence why I'm asking here. That and nobody was answering my question in that forum : ). Does anyone know how to create pavement markings from an OBM deck/solid? I was trying to follow the video below, was able to offset my alignment to create the alignments of my pavement markings, but when I got to the point where I needed to create profile from surface it wasn't working. That makes sense since the deck is a solid as opposed to an ORD surface like in the video, so I tried profile by 3D element as well and that was not successful. So any ideas how we can accomplish what they do in the video but in OBM?
Thanks!

Hi Steven,
How about using the Mesh from Element tool (with Keep Original enabled) and then the Profile from Surface command?

I used to use Extract Faces/Edges tool. You need to have a point in a deck cross section to get that edge in a solid. That will give you 3D smartline. Hope it helps.
