Hello,I have been trying to remove intervals on a line, but I keep getting the error " Remove intervals failed". Does anyone know why this could be happening? and How I can Fic this?
I think you still need to use Horizontal Civil Lines and Arcs. I stick to the Line Between Points tool to layout tangents. Then use the Arc Between Elements - Simple Arc tool to fillet between tangents. After using the Complex Geometry tool, use Simplify Geometry tool to "dumb" down the alignment. Also, I've found that the Table Editor tool is the safest way to modify the alignment when necessary.
Also, I'd always make sure Persist Snaps are off when drawing geometry. This tool creates "behind the scenes" dynamic relationships that can corrupt and alignment when they are unintentionally violated. In general, you are working in a software that is in beta, so use the simplest configurations as possible. I yearn for the days of my career when I was an autocad designer only.
Good luck!
I exported alignments to LandXML and reimported to simplify a long alignment when I could not modify it without jumping through too many hoop. It works for both Horizontal and/or Vertical.

How do you think one should develop geometry for longer projects?
Thank you for your time Mark.
Hi Mark
Absolutely agree, you couldn't have said it better.
ORD civil elements for simple or short alignments, work great, but for long alignments with successive curves and complex constructions they have a lot of issues because of their "intelligence", especially when you then have to modify them.
Best regards.
