Hello. I am trying to create the terrain file from DTM in OpenRoads Designer Connect Edition. After the import is complete, when I display the contours, the contours are wrong. But if I import the terrain from the same DTM in Inroads V8i SS4, the contours are correct. Do you know what might be causing this. And, is it possible to convert the terrain file in Inroads SS4 for use in OpenRoads Designer Connect Edition. Help is very much appreciated.
I have a client who has experienced similar behavior, and I believe has opened an SR with Bentley that indicated this was a defect. We have had some luck working around the issue by either exporting to LandXML and importing that, or generating triangles and then recreating the Terrain Model in ORD.
