The information dialog will display when there is a profile view with 3D Cuts where the reference attachment created by the 3D Cut cannot be found. The references dialog will indicate the missing references in red. The information dialog itself should not prevent printing but perhaps there are some other settings or configuration in the active workspace affecting the printing. Perhaps you could start by resolving the missing references to see if that fixes the problem.
Don't think that is the problem. Nothing being referenced in the drawing is in red, and the when I open the drawing I am referencing they have nothing in red.
If the Information dialog is being caused by a missing reference from 3D Cuts then it would be a reference to the design profile view. When looking at references from the drawing or sheet models it would be a nested reference that is missing so it would not show up immediately, but it could be viewed in the dialog by looking through the nested reference attachments.
I got this error message and simply changed "live nesting" to "no nesting" and back to "live nesting". That fixed it for me. I may have just gotten lucky, because so far NOTHING has been that simple in OpenRoads Designer CE. I know I'm responding to an old thread, but maybe it will help someone in the future.
in which file did you do this? the sheet file? the container file? or the reference file?
also responding to an old thread but i hope you see this!!
It's been a while since I ran into this, but I believe I did it in the sheet file.
sheet file, in the profile view model, I assume?
Yes, I believe that was the case. I think I may have actually done it in all three models (sheet view model, profile view model, and plan view model)
ok, thanks. I'll give it a try.
