Make the delta terrain the active terrain and then it will appear in the profile view of the alignment. Make it the active profile and then a regular geometry report at intervals will be reporting the delta elevation between the terrains.

RE: Terrain to Terrain Elevation Difference Reporting

You can offset the H geometry, get profile on one of the existing (not the active one), set it as the active V geometry and do a report using ProfileExistingProposedElevation.

RE: Terrain to Terrain Elevation Difference Reporting

Thanks so much Mark, I've thought about that method for non-modelers but yeah, it's just a little cumbersome just in the fact that you have to do everything twice, hence why I asked the hive mind here for a "magic button" that would do the same. I'll stick with templates but will pass along this method to others not so familiar with modeling.

I would create Offset Geometry for the offsets you want, set the existing Terrain as the active Terrain and drape the offset geometry to the proposed Terrain using the Quick Profile from Surface tool. Then you can use the Base Station Offset or Station Offset Reports to get the elevations where you need. I think ProfileExistingProposedElevation report will give you what you need.

RE: Terrain to Terrain Elevation Difference Reporting

You may be able to use and annotate a Delta Terrain
