Is there any way to define a "Default" Active Feature Definition?
A key-in or another way?
Hello Klaus,
Assuming you're asking this within OpenRoads Designer CE, there is an option within “Features Definition Toolbar” to activate the Feature definition which is located under OpenRoads Modeling Workflow> Geometry Tab> General Tools Ribbon Group> Standards Drop down list> Features Definition Toolbar (Image attached), please find the attached link from Bentley Documents which describes on the same. https://docs.bentley.com/LiveContent/web/OpenRoads%20Designer%20CONNECT-v9/en/GUID-53AAFAB8-47E8-46FB-9EE4-B1BAE9848512.html
Hope this helps you.

I do know the toolbar function, but i would like to somehow define / choose a default feature definition, so when i open the program it is set to example "Geom_Baseline" by default. This is to avoid choosing to a feature definition every time i turn close and open my ORD.
Thanks for providing some more information on this, Klaus,
It's always helpful to us if you share the detailed information to answer your query correctly.
However, this could be an enhancement request and there is one logged already on a similar one, and I’ll update your request over there (set to default upon close and open the ORD).
Enhancement 1108113:Set Active Design Standard and Feature Definition as Default when switching between dgn on the same WorkSpace
Hi Klaus,
Similar to my response about setting persist snaps, you could use the GEOMETRY SETACTIVEFEATURE <FeatureDefinitionPath> keyin to set on startup in an autorun macro, eg. GEOMETRY SETACTIVEFEATURE Alignment\D-GEOM-CL 10m CH
You could also make this the active Feature Definition by following it with a GEOMETRY ACTIVEFEATUREOVERRIDE command.
Naturally, the enhancement to make this more integrated and automated would be preferable, but this would work for now.
One thing you'll have to do is make sure the Feature Definition toolbar is loaded and docked to control changing these settings manually, otherwise they'll be locked in the session and you wont be able to change them (outside manual keyins that is).
Regards,
Mark

Mark Is there a key-in to enable, rather toggle, the Use Active Feature Definition?
Thank you
