When will Migration Utilities be upgraded for 10.10 release. Specifically with the ability to define Item Types associated with Feature Definition.
I just found out that the migration utilities are now added functionality to the software itself such as the Feature Remapper. Those tools can be found in the Backstage under Civil Tools. This is an improvement that I did not catch, when 10.10 came out.
And is there any documentation or videos on its use?

These are the best instructions / documentation (to date) that I have found so far...
From <https://communities.bentley.com/products/road___site_design/w/road_and_site_design__wiki/41067/report-on-feature-definitions-and-symbologies-in-openroads-designer-connect>
I've been using the Migration Utilities, even for making new Element Templates for V8i. But this thread moved on to the Feature Remapping tool. That is the documentation I was looking for.
I could use a full time staff to maintain our workspace, but so far, that isn't happening. So any tools that can streamline edits is worth its weight in gold!
I like your comment... "I could use a full time staff to maintain our workspace, but so far, that isn't happening.". Same here. I am overseeing 5 different DOT workspace implementations and use by all of our designers. There is a need for these tools.
I spent about 20 years away from the DOT where I had to do what you describe - keep multiple client workspaces up to date. But I will tell you this - Creating, updating and maintaining a workspace is a lot more work that making sure a client supplied workspace is up to date.
But my original comment that we need a guide or series of videos on this tool still stands. Where can we find something to help us implement this now tool?
Chuck,
I rely on the DOT's doing a thorough job of 'building' a Configuration. In maintaining the various Configurations, I have them at both ends of the spectrum - those needing little extra effort on my part to make it work "WELL" and those taking a lot of effort. Obviously, I spend most of my time on the ones needing "help". For me my top priority is keeping designer busy designing and not troubleshooting the Configuration.
I have not found any guidance (Help, BE Communities Learn Server, etc) to help us, administrators, effectively use these Migration Utilities. It is a little frustrating.
