Hey Folks,
I can't get the Station/Offset key-in to work in a script (or at all in ORD). Is this functionality still available?
I have an alignment referenced, and have this in my txt file:
place smartline
so=71575,1000
so=71575,-1000
reset
OpenRoads doesn't recognize it. Any ideas?

No you would need to use Civil Accudraw to accomplish this.

Thanks Beebe, so placing a line using station/offset is not "scriptable" using the key-ins in ORD? Or am I missing a few keyins in the simple script above?
Correct. Something already highlighted by few users and discussed internally.
Can we request an enhancement for this - something that would exponentially help all users with productivity. Perhaps the keyin could be relative to a selected alignment, ie. select alignment and run keyin.
Regards,
Mark

Agreed. Scripting in InRoads was a powerful option that was not used often, but when needed was easily taught and used. Any Civil AccuDraw entry with a single origin element should be eligible to be scripted.
