How can I create end condition to my corridor ( cut and fill) with 10cm soil?
I am using OpenRoads 10.09

With few constructions I have to make sure the ditch goes at least 0.4 m below the last layer of the construction pie, so I added another end condition that always remains 0.4 under the construction if ditch is included in that specific variant..

RE: End Condition with soil

Sigfus,

Maybe I'm misunderstanding the question but are you trying to create an End Condition that represents a 10cm thick topsoil?
If so, just create the End Condition as you would normally do. Then create a constrained soil component that is fully constrained to that End Condition and is 10 cm thick. Then go into the Soil component properties and make the End Condition the 'Parent' component. When the end condition solves, the soil will be included. When it doesn't solve, there will not be any soil component.

RE: End Condition with soil

There's a little mistake.
Thanks, I try it out :-)

RE: End Condition with soil

Hello Sigfus,

I have a solution which might be a little convoluted but it does the job for me.

I create and end condition and add overlay stripping element to it. After which I add end conditions to which I constrain the striping points to. Here are pictures.

I've had to create a small simple elements triangles so I wouldn't have to overlay construction with the stripping since the striping is always vertical and I haven't found a way to change that.

This is an end condition to the inside slope which has to be a certain height below the construction pie so it's constrained to another point(Nogaze1). Nogaze1 is constrained to the small triangle or can be to Edge of Shoulder.

In this case the ditch is required so here are the remaining points until the outside slope.

Here's the result.

Hope you can extrapolate a viable solution to your issue.

With Regards,
Reinis
