I've run in to issue where my corridor doesn't offset properly a shoulder line. the blue line should start at the end of the brown line since it's the one used for offset geometry. It says it's on the start station(0+00) but clearly it's starting only few centimeters off the start.
That type of stuff can be finicky when used at the exact beginning of an Alignment or Corridor. When it acts erratically, I'll usually put in 00+00.01. This configuration looks visually okay and does NOT affect quantities. Stupid workaround, but like I said: it can be finicky

This is because the Point Control is effectively perpendicular at the Corridor start.
You can try increasing the template drop interval to get a bit closer, but the workflow to achieve an intersection like this is to take the corridor back a little bit, create a Terrain for the intersection part and apply a surface template.
