Is there a way to use formulas in field entry

I am entering a large network of nodes and conduits into a utility surface.

The information provided is lid elev. and inv. or obv, and pipe size.

Ex. LID 55.23, OBV. 2.92, pipe is .250.

I would love to be able to go into the PIPE INVERT field in the utility properies and enter =55.23-2.92-.250 and have the answer. Instead i have to open windows calculator and do the math there.

Question: Is there a way to use formulas in field entry
