In GEOPAK is there a simple way to divide a complex chain into equal length segments? I have a chain that is comprised of a line segment and curve. I would like to be able to divide the chain similar to dividing a line or curve without doing so segmentally.
If not, is there a way to divide a complex chain in MicroStation so that I can select the begin and end points on each segment in GEOPAK?
Thanks in advance.
Place points to locate the break points, or actually break the element at those points?

My objective is to identify the point locations. I don't need the line to actual break in these locations.
I'm not in Geopak right now, but I know that the MicroStation Points Toolbox has "Construct Points Along Element" which can be used to place a set number of equally spaced points along an element. If you use plain point (zero-length line) elements, set your active color to something obvious, and use a weight of about 8, to make your poiints easy to see.
Geopak may have something better, but I'll defer that to someone who can see the tools.
Thank Mary! This is exactly what I'm looking for GEOPAK to do but at least I have a workaround in MicroStation in the meantime.
Glad to help!
