When exporting to KMZ using ORD10.9 I am getting a pin at every PC and PT location along my alignments. Also getting pins at utility locations. Never have had this issue before with SS10 and earlier.
If you have a large file with linework and cells, do you have to do this for every element? I'm getting the pushpins at every element when converted to kmz file and opened in Google Earth?

I have the same problem with my DOT's standard ORD workspace.
The problem appears to be caused by the fact that ORD exports placemarks for DGN points and the fact that my DOT's Annotation Group for alignment stationing is set to place a line with zero length and a leader at PCs, PTs, etc. A zero length line is a point, and therefore gets a thumbtack in Google Earth. Screenshot is below. I can fix this and eliminate the annoying thumbtacks by turning off the leader for the cardinal lines and modifying the settings under "Placement" and "Line" to get the line that I need.
If you drag-select across your utilities, can you tell if you've selected any points? If so, I bet there's an annotation style somewhere in your workspace that is placing a point or a cell that contains a point.
