The annotation is a result of the math. I suspect the problem is in your DTM, or at least in the way you cut your cross sections. You might try enabling &amp;#39;Use Features Only&amp;#39; on your proposed DTM then update and re-annotate your cross sections. This will ignore long triangles along the edge of your DTM that might be flattening your slopes. HTH&lt;/p&gt;
