How can I set up the number commands in OpenRoads like it is set up in MicroStation (3,2 for move, 3,9 for copy parallel etc)? I saw a thread on this but it didn't work. The thread is referenced below. Thanks.
numeric keyboard shortcut on OpenRoads - OpenRoads | OpenSite Forum - OpenRoads | OpenSite - Bentley Communities
I have seen mention of an issue if the position mapping shortcuts are set up with the number pad, but the numbers are entered with the number keys above the letters, and vice versa.
When you say "It didn't work", can you be more specific? Are the position mapping shortcuts showing up incorrectly, or not at all? Are the shortcuts not calling any tool, or are they calling an incorrect tool?

They are not working at all. After reading your message I went back through the process in the link and I typed the number in the number pad. The commands did not work with the number pad or the keyboard numbers. Nothing happens.
Andrew,
I think it may be a matter of some mapping shortcuts overriding others. In my experience, I've had to wipe out the 'main' keyboard shortcuts to ensure they don't override my Tasks/Ribbon Key-ins. I've included an image of my position mapping preferences below. My number commands work left to right across my ribbon. Note - I had to customize the ribbon shortcut keys as well (i.e., "move" is "2"). Hope this helps.
I cleared out the keyboard short cuts under user, settings, file. I set the keys up exactly like they are in the screen shot. You mention you had to customize the ribbon shortcut keys as well. Could you explain how to do this? Thanks.
