Hi.
I'm unable to find a topic on following issue, which seems to be quite easy, but...I'm designing in OpenRoads and in template there is a simple gravel layer - 20 cm high with rooftop type crosslopes - 4% each. As I create the superelevation, for example, for surface left edge, to elevate and in full superelevation I have onesided crosslope (4%), the left side's subrgade line still is rooftop type - 4% each. How do I make the subgrade line to follow surfaces left edge? I would like it to follow as red line in the sketch.
Thanks.
Guys, thanks!
I defined that subgrade edge follows surface edge by constant "h" value as well as slope is defined to follow surfaces edge's point. I attach printscreen. Is there any more efficient way? Or can these definitions compromise me any way?
P.S.I do appreciate Your effort for quick response. Respect!
You need an additional subgrade point constrained to cela_mala (horizontal = 0, vertical = h). Then grants_apaksa will be constrained to this new point (horizontal = x, vector-offset between ass_grants_apaska and the new point with a value of 0).
Additionally, the subgrade points do not need to have superelevation flag checked.
Thanks. I almost got You, but not quite. May I ask You to show it graphically...?
Here is something quick I put together. Point 2 in my template is the new point you must add. It is constrained to Point 4 (horizontal = 0, vertical = h). And then constraints for Point 3 are shown in the screenshot with the vector offset.
Not bad idea at all.
