Help! I am taking over for a PM who just left our organization and am working on the drainage design for a project. I have an existing terrain model and just received aerial imagery. I have been able to reference the aerial imagery and align it with the terrain model, but I cannot change the display to show contours from the terrain model over the aerial imagery. Line work appears over the imagery, but the terrain model won't display. I'm relatively new to OpenRoads, so I don't know if there is a process to change the terrain display to line work so it displays over the imagery.
Thank you!

What version of ORD?
My first thought is to check the raster attachment settings. In the settings dialog you should find a field for Plane. Make sure the aerial is on the background plane.
Microstation CONNECT 10.17.00.209
ORD CONNECT 2021 R1 10.10.1.3
Microstation v8i SS 10 08.11.09.919
Power InRoads v8i 08.11.09.615
ProjectWise 10.0.3.453
I didn't think to check the raster attachment settings. The imagery is placed on the background plane. I'm still not able to see the terrain model, but I was able to adjust the transparency, which is helpful. It's ORD Connect Ed. 2020 Release 2.
Thanks.
Are you in a 3d file and is the aerial imagery in a dgn file which is attached to your current file?
I doubt this will help, but open the reference dialog. Then go to <Properties <Update sequence within the reference manager dialog.
Move your file with the terrain model to the bottom of the list.. Click OK.
mwlong,
Yes, that's exactly it--I am in a 2D model, but the terrain is 3D (though it displays in the 2D Model). I am my own 2D seed file which I referenced the terrain model and aerial imagery into. Under properties, the terrain model is shown as "locked" so I'm not sure if that has something to do with it. I have updated the sequence, and any line work that I've drawn appears above the aerial imagery, it's only the terrain model contours and data. Is there a way to attach the file to this forum thread?
Thank you.
