Running ORD 10.10.01.03 and creating a vertical report to check sight distance. The report is reporting the standard 3.5 and 2 but I sometimes need to uses different heights. Where can I change the eye and object heights?
The settings are defined by configuration variables in the workspace:
%if $(Units) == "Metric" CIVIL_ANNOTATION_SIGHTDISTANCE_EYEHEIGHT = 1.10 CIVIL_ANNOTATION_SIGHTDISTANCE_OBJECTHEIGHT = 0.20
%else CIVIL_ANNOTATION_SIGHTDISTANCE_EYEHEIGHT = 3.50 CIVIL_ANNOTATION_SIGHTDISTANCE_OBJECTHEIGHT = 2.00%endif
In the delivered imperial workspace the file that defines those settings is
C:\ProgramData\Bentley\OpenRoads Designer CE 10.10\Configuration\Organization-Civil\_Civil Default Standards - Imperial.cfg
but if you want to change the settings it would be easiest to do that from the Configuration Variables dialog that will update the setting in your UCF file that is by default stored in this folder C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Bentley\OpenRoadsDesigner\10.0.0\prefs

Configuration Variable Tip was what I needed - Thanks
It would sure be nice if users didn't have to tinker with the configuration variables to change controls like these.
I agree 100%. Moving things from the user-friendly XIN to Config Variables is really problematic in my eyes.
