I created a simple two node/one conduit network. So far so good.
I then created a Profile Run using the Hydraulic Run from Node tool, and then the Project Run tool. I expect the stations of the node centers to agree in plan and profile, but they do not. What is happening here? And how do I fix this? I'm guessing I'm not doing something right.
I created what's shown below with the delivered Imperial WorkSpace to confirm what I am seeing in my custom WorkSpace, and it behaves similarly in both.
It seems that the problem is any Profile Runs I create only extend to the manhole walls at the beginning and ending nodes. This happens to me regardless of WorkSpace used. Others (outside of my office) are able to use my same file and recreate profile runs that extend to the beginning and ending manholes. Any intermediate manholes appear correctly in profile since the profile run extends completely through any intermediate manholes.
All of us are using the Hydraulic Run from Node tool or the Utility Run from Links tool followed by the Project Run tool. I get the same (incorrect) results with either tool.
So far I have not found a solution.
Is anyone else seeing this issue, or am I the only one?
I discovered that nodes draw correctly in profile only if the pipe connection region (shape or cone) is not used and is left to be the default node center. However, this is not usually the way manholes and pipes are modeled. Pipes are usually shown/designed to be connected to the interior of the manhole wall.
How can I fix this? Support and I have been working back and forth on this with, but no solution has been found.
