I have a terrain model I am trying to plot as my existing terrain that will not plot grayscale. I am referencing in the terrain model with the logical set to "Screen 1". I have my feature definition set to "Existing Ground" which is pulling from the CTDOT standard feature definitions, which I am showing in my first snip. I am thinking this is an issue with the feature definition itself, but I am not sure how to correct this issue. Does this sound like a feature definition issue? If so, how would I go into the template to correct this? If not, what could be causing this?
When I go to the Existing Ground feature properties, the second snip is showing what is coming up.
I don't do any work with CTDOT so I'm not sure. I would talk to the PM in your company (unless that's you), let them know you need some guidance, and have them reach out to their client contact at the DOT who could point you in the right direction.
Otherwise, a quick Google search of CTDOT CAD Department yielded me this contact list.

I have not, do you know of a contact I could reach out to?
Hmm that would be my only idea. Have you tried reaching out to the CAD department at CTDOT? I know here there are support technicians at the DOT who are happy to answer these kinds of questions from consultants.
Unfortunately checking rasterized didnt fix the issue
One time I had an issue with certain cross section sheets only printing out in color. I fixed it by checking this box in the print dialog box. Maybe it is the same issue for you.
