Hi all
I'm having an issue with ORD 2021 R1 when applying a Point Control to a Linear Template.
It seems as though setting the Secondary Alignment option to True or to False does not have the desired effect of processing the rest of the template perpendicular to the point controlled element.
In the figure below, I have applied a horizontal point control to the inside edge of a sidewalk component with Use as Secondary Alignment = True. I would expect the meshes to build perpendicular (as indicated by the red arrows), but it doesn't seem to be working.
Changing Use as Secondary Alignment to False produces exactly the same result.
The plan element used for the point control does not have any rules linking it to any other elements. Is this a bug, or am I doing something wrong?
Thanks!
Yep, same here. Looking like a defect...

Thanks Mark
For anyone else interested, this issue resulted in Defect Report 897374. Fingers crossed for it being addressed soon. For now there is a workaround - placing a corridor instead of a linear template.
