I am attempting to fill in some gaps with the automated cross section annotation group. I would like to singularly label a slope in my cross sections in ORD. When using Place Label and the delivered Text Favorite for slope, it doesn't populatewith anything other than 0.00%.
When prompted to select an element, I noticed it is asking for a point instead of a component or element, could that be the cause?
Surely there is a way for a user to label just a specific segment on a cross section without going through the annotation groups. Am I missing that tool or workflow somewhere?
Thank you
You can create and place multiple annotation groups to a single cross section, which means you can create one for a specific segment as you mention. One can be slopes, one can be r/w, etc. An annotation group can be used (filtered) to a specific set of points (ie. LT_EOP and PGL point definitions). Here's a video segment based on ODOT's standards to see how they add a segment. https://youtu.be/2S8LGmWGLHY?t=1409
