Label elevation of element (or terrain) at any point in 2D in ORD CONNECT

Hello all,

Using ORD CONNECT Edition, I would like to be able to display the elevation of an element or a terrain WITHOUT having to use the "Analyze Point" tool or the "Label Terrain Spots" tools. Ultimately I would like to include this information with other information as a live/dynamic label, like the 1st screenshot below. I need to do this in a 2D view.

As an example (see 2nd screenshot) - GEOPAK plan view labeler could EASILY be configured to show the station, offset, and tin elevation (or any other desire info) at any point, along any alignment, then placed as text (albeit not a live or dynamic label), in a 2D view.

Any help is appreciated.

  • Take a look at Civil Labeler that can be configured for the required annotation as shown in the video:

  • Paul - it appears the Civil Labeler is in a newer version of ORD that I hadn't yet upgraded to. I will upgrade and start tinkering. Thanks for the heads up!
