I have some difficulties getting the side slope annotation to behave as I want. I am not sure if I have set it up poorly or if I am using the tool it the wrong way. I am using OpenRoads Designer 2020 R3.

If I remove any intermediate points

RE: Side slope annotation

Yes, this is one of several bugs with Slope Signatures and please log a SR for this. Your suggestion worked for me.

When I removed the feature definition from FIL_V, FIL_H, TB_V and TB_H I.e. all intermediate points between the source and target of the side slope annotation I have setup I get the annotation correctly.

This is a great workaround however I still feel that removing feature definitions to get slope annotation isn't perfect. If anyone out there has an idea of how to do this while keeping the feature definitions set on any intermediate point I'm glad to hear your solution.

I think closed component side slopes do not label the same way. It's also possible that you have some sort of distance filter applied, so that segments less than a certain length do not get labeled.
