&lt;p&gt;The profile, while stored in the DGN, is not actually created of graphic elements. To generate actual graphics, you will need to create a drawing model from a named boundary, in the same way you would generate a sheet. That will create graphics that can then be exported to DWG.&lt;/p&gt;
