Hi Everyone,
I am new to this IFC world and wanted your opinion. We have a project where we are modelling everything in ORD and the client is requesting input files (IFC) to be imported into BIM 360.
I have searched everywhere online and I couldn't find any direct solution, my understanding is that ORD IFC export is the latest version (4) which is not supported by Autodesk products.
I was wondering if anyone has work around to export ORD corridors to a compatible version with BIM 360.
Thanks in advance !!
What product and version are you using, And what version of that software?
I do see a suggestion in this thread:https://communities.bentley.com/products/road___site_design/f/geopak-inroads-mx-openroads-forum/213382/openroads-export-to-ifc-to-navisworks-geolocation
That suggests using iTwin to convert to a different version of IFC. I don't know anything about that, so you may still need to research more on your own. Hopefully some of the more experienced members can chime in with their solutions and workarounds.
I'm not seeing many posted solutions. It may be best if you can file a Service Ticket with Support. If there is a way to workaround this, they should know, and if not...at least they will be able to add your name to the list of people requesting better IFC export.
