When I first loaded a new configuration from the local DOT the properties and details boxes were tabbed together. I separated them and now can't get them back together.
Any ideas? Thanks
I'm not sure how they accomplished this as the properties dialog is only dockable on the left or right and the details is only dockable on the top or bottom.
I just did the same thing you did. I noticed they were tabbed together, and now they aren't. David is correct, as the individual dialogs will only dock left/right or top/bottom. Have you tried sending an email to DOT support and asking them how they did it?
There are glyph's that appear to hint at how things dock. When you draw one dialog over another already docked, you get a center glyph like seen here. The "tabs" on mine appear at the bottom but that might be configurable.

Hi Lucas,
when you drag a dialog, check displayed icons (glyphs as caddcop wrote). They tell you where the dialog can be docked (because some dialogs can be docked anywhere, others only at defined positions).
When you want to dock a dialog on top of another to be "tabbed", simply drag the dialog (cursor) to the center of "icons cross", where tabbed mode is displayed. It is good seen on Chuck's picture.

For the properties dialog I have the left and right glyphs, for details I have top and bottom, no center glyphs for either. Also in explorer I have different style of tabs. I'm not sure where the settings are to change these. This is a DOT configuration so they could be locked down, I'm not for sure if that's possible or how to change it.
