I am stuck with using InRoads cross-sections on a particular project, but I am considering re-creating the geometry and terrains in ORD and using ORD for the drainage design so I can take advantage of ORD efficiencies. But I must be able to display this information in InRoads cross-sections. If that is not possible, I'll have to create the drainage in an InRoads Storm and Sanitary database instead. Any insights and suggestions are welcome. Thank you.
My quick answer is "no" as ORD drainage objects are solids and solids cannot be sliced in Inroads; or at least I am unaware that they can be There may be a conversion tool in ORD to downgrade to Inroads S&S, but I have yet to see it if there is.

You can export StormCAD to Inroads, according to this link: Exporting to InRoads (bentley.com)
Is there a way to import ORD drainage into StormCAD, to then export it to InRoads?
InRoads Ss10 or ss4 cuts cross sections from 3d models, so depending upon the version, you might be alright. However, the results will not have any Open Roads intelligence.

i should have specified SS2, so I am out of luck there.
I'm not concerned about retaining the ORD intelligence in any export into inroads. The ORD intelligence will be retained in the ORD dgn file. If any updates are to be made, the dgn file would be updated and re-exported to InRoads (if there is actually an export-to-inroads workflow that works).
