It starts out like the first picture then i had to zoom in (a lot!) to get to the station range of my alignment as in picture 2. It use to show up with the entire proposed profile and ground line. if

RE: Profiles Will Not Display

Aha! Thank you for letting us know the fix.

It makes sense, a reference element can't have an "active" profile because it's not in the "active" file. Good sleuthing!

RE: Profiles Will Not Display

Here is the solution to my issue above. When I was creating the horizontal and vertical alignments in the GEOM dgn file, I referenced a Mstn V8i file that include the all of the proposed design features/elements. When I selected the horizontal alignment then opened the profile view, the software was looking for that V8i reference file I had TURNED ON (which was probably located over China on a small unidentified planet in the eastern hemisphere somewhere)! I turned off the display of that reference file and...TA-DAAAH!! There was my profile! I figured it would be an easy fix. Thank you for your feedback!

RE: Profiles Will Not Display

Which specific version are you using? Is this happening with only one specific element, one specific file, or is it an issue in multiple files?

Is there any chance that you have those levels turned off for that view? (I've seen stranger things...)
