Good morning all,
I am using ORD 2020 Release 3 Update 9 and trying to export my edited survey data to a CSV. The data was created by importing a CSV via the TIW however I can't seem to find any export formats other than XML, DBX, Trimble Link, or Bentley Survey format. I know that I was able to do it in InRoads SS4 by creating a new TEW format. Looking to get something like "Name,Northing,Easting,Elevation,Code,Desc,Attributes" which is the same format used when the data was imported. I've edited the survey codes and would now like to export a complete CSV with the updated codes.
Any thoughts on how I could do this?
Thanks, in advance,
John
Hi John
You can export survey points from a Field Book to a CSV or TXT file by creating a report and then exporting it.

From the Survey Details
Hope that helps.

This is exactly what I was looking for! Thanks!
There's just one more thing... Is there a way to add an additional column to the report? Of a way to customize an existing one? It wasn't obvious, which is why I'm asking.
Thanks!
Glad that helped get you over the hump.
There are several report options. You might be getting into the area of style sheets. I'm not familiar with writing these.
It would be very beneficial if there were a training program dealing with stylesheets in ORD.
I found books on XML often had a chapter or two on XLST which is the "science" behind stylesheets and occasionally a book on XLST alone. But studying examples and posting here or using GOOGLE, you can often get examples.
The ability to export an entire fieldbook as you could in InRoads Survey is really needed.
