Hi,
I wish to merge two or more surfaces / terrain models(excavation models), so i end up with the complete bottom part of the excavation. Is there any way to do this?I am using ORD 2021 R1. I am also able to use InRoads SS2 if there is a way to do it in InRoads :)
Best regards,Klaus
Hello Klaus,
If there is no compatibility problem between two surfaces, if one of the surfaces is always lower than the other in the areas where they overlap, you can create a common minimum surface by creating a complex terrain. In the form that appears after creating the new complex terrain, you will set the first surface on the upper level as the primary surface. You will combine the second lower level surface with the merge command.
If there are different regions on both surfaces that must be minimum, I think this is not a feature within the scope of ORD. Rather, this is characteristic of software working on topographic maps and geodesy. In our workflow, we carry out these studies through different software.
Best regards,
Erdem
Hi Erdem,
Problem is that the surfaces are overlapping and they are not in the same level, because its above at some places and lower on other places, see picture underneath.
