&lt;p&gt;No issue with either of these items. Set up a couple of seed dgn files, and use the import tools in OpenRoads to import the alignment and the DTM (terrain) in each file separately. No &amp;quot;harm&amp;quot; will come to the of the original files at all. Keep in mind that you will have to have feature definitions in your OpenRoads dgnlib&amp;#39;s in order to import the data to the symbology which you are used to working with; such being stated, the worst that could happen would be that the import pushed the elements to default symbologies, but there is no chance that the original alg and dtm will be harmed.&lt;/p&gt;
