I used a WorkSet sheet index to create a Print Organizer pset. All of the desired sheets appear in the sheet index and in the print organizer pset and they preview OK. Not all of the sheet files get printed to the pdf. Stranger still, if I open the same pset in MicroStation CE it prints all of the sheets. What's going on? MicroStation support won't help me because it works in MS. ORD support hasn't responded in a week or two, so I've gotten nowhere. Has anyone else experienced this?
No answer. But just tacking onto this. I've given up using the sheet index print organizer. It seems there is always an issue with duplicate or missing sheets. Also I can't figure out how to access the same Print Definition Creation Options you get when adding sheets to a set in the normal print organizer. There is no Manually Specified Options tool when using the sheet index.
I believe the Print Organizer is broken when it comes to generating the Pset from the Sheet Index. However, a workaround that I've used is highlighting sheets and using the "Convert to print definitions" tool. Then you have access to all print settings. I've found that resetting the print area gets where I need. Hope this helps.
FYI... This problem still exists in ORD 2021 R2 (10.10.21.04)
I believe this was finally fixed in 2021 R1 and broken again in 2021 R2. We just use Microstation to use Print Organizer.

I've resorted to this approach as well. However, several text fields that use custom WorkSet properties get a few #### characters added before the actual field when using MS to print the same pset. ORD's output doesn't include the ####s, but some pages may or may not be included in the output. It sure would be nice to have this work perfectly in one or the other programs.
