I have been creating new Sheet dgnlibs to deal with certain issues we are facing. When I create the Plan and/or Profiles, the Sheet Annotation is coming in a fraction of the size it should. I am using a 1"=40' scale.

I have had similar issues on my end. I have had to go through and set everything up from scratch to use appropriate Annotation Scale, Text Styles, etc.

It has been quite the challenge for sure.

RE: Profile and Plan Border Incorrect Size in Sheet DGNLIB

Thanks Dan - I actually got it all figured it out. My organization is still using the 1:1 scale for annotation which is creating certain challenges!

RE: Profile and Plan Border Incorrect Size in Sheet DGNLIB

There is another part of the setting in the CONNECT Platform. All files need to be 10000 units per foot, "Until we added this extra decimal of precision, there were many similar issues.

RE: Profile and Plan Border Incorrect Size in Sheet DGNLIB

I did solve this... It has been too long and I don't remember the solution to the issue I was having.

Since this was so early in the development, it was probably a scale thing (as discussed below)

If you post the file, I can take a look.

I'm having some issues with Profiles coming in wonky too and I'm guessing you've mastered this by now

RE: Profile and Plan Border Incorrect Size in Sheet DGNLIB

Another probably silly question, but when you say 1"=40' do you mean 1:480 or 1:40? In past workspaces in Microstation/InRoads, we'd set everything to 1:40 for 1"=40'. It was never a problem; we all knew that it wasn't really 1:40. In ORD, someone apparently decided that they absolutely had to change that and make it 1:480 - so everything that we had from old workspaces (borders, text styles, line styles, cells, etc) is now off by a factor of 12! Super annoying. Your screenshot looks almost like a factor of 12.

RE: Profile and Plan Border Incorrect Size in Sheet DGNLIB

Yes.

I had to generate all new files as we are utilizing International Feet instead of Survey Feet...

I am guessing it is some setting like that, but I am at a loss at the moment...

RE: Profile and Plan Border Incorrect Size in Sheet DGNLIB

Probably a silly question, but are all of your files using the same working unit definitions and unit resolutions?
