Delete a Breakline from a Terrain Model Imported from Inroads

I have a terrain model that I created from a .DTM. I have some errant breaklines that were included in that surface that I need to delete. Unfortunately when I use the edit terrain commands it deletes all of the breaklines instead of just the ones I need. I've also tried remove features and again, it deletes them all. I'm wondering if that by importing them from inroads they were somehow grouped together. It really seems that a lot of inroads commands that were easy to use and self explanatory have been removed for some reason. Am I overlooking them or something?

  • FYI: I had occasion to use 3D graphics linked to a terrain model in Civil 3D. In order to get certain triangles to look correct, I had to manually add some 3D breaklines. Some time later, another user with edit rights, decided that those lines were unnecessary and screwed up my DTM. After that, we adopted a policy  of publishing the terrain to its own file with no linked graphics. If updates were required, the source files were used and the terrain republished. I'd be reluctant to adopt a different policy for ORD.
