Annotating manholes

Hello,

I'd like to annotate the manholes according to this example:

The first 2 lines are possible to do,

The last 2 lines I'd like to have the levels of the connecting conduits and the feature name it is connected to. In that case it is clear to seen in top view what the several elevations are.

The text favorite looks like this:

  • Gunther,

The mechanism here is going to depend on the version of the software you are using. If you are in one of the 10.10 products, you will be looking for the Manhole Element Manager content under Drainage & Utilities > Drainage. In there will be Connecting Link conduit Invert elevations and an Outgoing Invert. Just a note, unfortunately this will not work if the Drainage Options are set to use US Survey Foot.

As an interim solution until that gets remedied, if you are only needing the label in the plan view you might be able to generate a Civil Labeler label that takes three inputs, the node for the top two lines, and then an incoming and outgoing conduit. I haven't yet developed labels that leverage different D&U targets, but the theory should hold that this would work.

    I hope that helps.
