Hi,
CONNECTION Client offered me today upgrade from ORD 10.10.20.78 to the latest 10.10.21.04.
Why this minor upgrade for released and what new changes or fixes it offers?
With regards,
Jan
This also resolves an issue with IFC 4 exports failing for large models and GENIO exports failing to export 3d features with voids/gaps in them.

Mark

Hi Mark, it seems that IFC export for larger model with added items is still not working:-(... I do not know how to solve this issue... i can do that export only throught iModels and ProjectWise365 portal
Defect 1142330:Large Model cannot finish IFC export process
Defect 1142329:3D LINEAR FEATURES WITH VOIDS NO LONGER EXPORT TO GENIO
Defect 1142331:XS Annotation will annotate elements that are invisible due to display rules/corridor clipping
Some outstanding issues are that the new IFC 2x3 is incomplete (ie. does not correctly complete IFC schema for models to be displayed in any BIM viewer) and IFC export using Named Boundaries gets an exception error for large models.
We also have an issue (back to 2021 R1) where large IFC exports with Item Types use up to 100Gb of RAM to export large models (we have special machines for this), however this seems to have gotten higher the latest release - is this the issue you have?
Hi Mark, yes it seems that you have similar problem with IFC export as I have - please check latest export log which ORD did

yep, that looks to be the same Named Boundary IFC export problem. I put in Service Request: 7001378219 but the support engineer hasn't been able to reproduce it yet because his test models are too small - i suggest you put a ticket in to get it resolved...
Do you need to use Named Boundaries to split the export to IFC?
No I did not use named boundaries for export. But I will refer with my SR to yours
Thank you Jiří B.
To confirm, have you installed the updated 2021 R2, ie. 10.10.21.04?
Hi Mark, yes I have mentioned version
Hi I placed SR and I got nr 7001391658
